Oklahoma football fans have a lot to look forward to this Fourth of July weekend as the Sooners are set to potentially add two talented recruits to their already impressive 2025 recruiting class. Safety Omarion Robinson from Little Rock, AR, will be choosing between Oklahoma, Arkansas, LSU, and Oregon. Ranked as a 4-star recruit and the No. 26 safety in the country, Robinson could be a valuable addition to the Sooners’ defense.
Offensive tackle Lamont Rogers is also set to make his college decision, with Oklahoma competing against schools like SMU, Missouri, Texas, Texas A&M, and Florida State for his commitment. With the need to rebuild their offensive line after losing talent to the NFL Draft and graduation, as well as a transfer, landing a player like Rogers, a 4-star prospect and the 55th-best player in the country, would be a major win for the Sooners.
With commitments already from top recruits like Trystan Haynes, Courtland Guillory, and Ryan Fodje, Oklahoma’s 2025 recruiting class is ranked seventh in the country. Adding Robinson and Rogers could further solidify their class and set them up for success in the future. As the recruiting announcements are set to take place this weekend, Oklahoma fans are eagerly awaiting to see who will be joining the Sooners’ ranks.
