The facts about the ‘Ketamine Queen’ linked to Matthew Perry’s passing

Jasveen Sangha, who was accused of supplying the ketamine that led to the death of actor Matthew Perry, was once a high school student at Calabasas High School where she quoted Hollywood legends Errol Flynn and Luciano De Crescenzo in her yearbook. Sangha, now 41, faces charges of conspiracy to distribute ketamine, maintaining a drug-involved premises, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and distribution of ketamine. She has pleaded not guilty. Sangha, who portrayed a glamorous lifestyle on social media, was arrested in connection to Perry’s death after being previously accused of being a large volume drug dealer in a separate federal case. Prosecutors allege that Sangha had been selling drugs, including ketamine, since at least 2019, and had turned her home into a “stash house”. Investigators found evidence of drug trafficking at her residence, including ketamine and other drugs, as well as a video showing her cooking ketamine to convert it into a powder. In the past, Sangha was reportedly involved in a case where a man overdosed on ketamine she provided, causing his death. Her lawyer, Mark Geragos, has argued that the charges against her are too harsh and that prosecutors may have a tough time holding her accountable. Sangha could face 10 years to life in prison if convicted on all charges related to Perry’s death.
