A man, Paul Park, has been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of Alyssa Lokits, 34, who was killed while exercising on a walking trail in Nashville, Tennessee. Lokits was found with a gunshot wound on the Mill Creek Greenway off Old Hickory Boulevard. Witnesses heard Lokits yelling for help and saw a man on top of her before shots were fired. The suspect fled in a dark-colored sedan towards Old Hickory Boulevard. Lokits’ car was found at a trailhead entrance on Pettus Avenue and she later died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Park’s arrest was praised by police for the investigative work conducted. It is unclear if Park has an attorney or what specific charges he may face.
