In singles play, Michigan’s Fliegner, Jones, and Sartz-Lunde secured wins, while Oklahoma’s Garcia Ruiz, Ounmuang, Shcherbinina, Catanzarite, and Staker also recorded victories. The doubles matchups saw Michigan winning on court one and Oklahoma on courts two and three. The order of finish was doubles (2,1,3) and singles (3,6,1,5,2,4). The competition was intense and came down to a thrilling third set tiebreak on court four, where Staker clinched the win for the Sooners. This victory showcased Oklahoma’s resilience and determination in a high-pressure situation.
