However, Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond has expressed concerns about the potential consequences of taxpayer-funded religious charter schools, warning that it could lead to funding for schools teaching Sharia Law, Wicca indoctrination, Scientology instruction, and even the Church of Satan. Drummond believes that the best way to protect religious liberty is for the state to not sponsor any religion, in line with the intentions of the Founding Fathers.
