The Oklahoma Athletics Department has extended the Crimson Combine football event at Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium on Saturday by 30 minutes to include additional standard practice drills. Presented by OG&E, this event will give fans an inside look at elements of an actual OU practice.
The practice will run from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and include various drills such as skills period, 7-on-7 work, lineman competitions, and more. Fan-engagement activities such as a kicking contest and punt-catching competition will also take place.
After the drills, OU players will sign autographs for fans in the south stands and activities like inflatables and a beer garden will be available in the north end of Owen Field. The event will conclude at 3:30 p.m.
Parking will be available in certain lots, and gates to the stadium will open at noon. Sooner Kids Club members will have the opportunity to participate in combine-style drills on the field.
Tickets to the event are $10 and can be purchased online. Club-level season ticket holders can purchase general admission club tickets for $10 each. The event will also be part of Varsity O’s Sooners for Life Spring Weekend, connecting and celebrating former OU student-athletes.
Former OU student-athletes are encouraged to update their contact information with the Varsity O Association for communication about the event.
