Fourteen student-athletes from the Oklahoma State equestrian team have been recognized for their academic achievements, with nine earning first-team honors. This marks the fourth consecutive year that OSU has had at least seven first-team selections, tying the program record with nine first-team selections this year.
Among the first-team selections are Tristan Bagby, Abby Budd, and June Roberson, who have earned this honor for the second year in a row. The other six riders on the first team, including Hannah Dodd, Mackenzie Carreras, Ava Bush, Bella Holway, Caroline Mirts, and Alana Tietz, received this recognition for the first time in their careers. Carreras, in particular, has been named to an all-academic team before as an honorable mention last year.
Additionally, four Cowgirls were selected for the second team, with Riley Hogan and Peyton Baxter earning their spots for the second time. Bella D’Onofrio and Emma Filiatreau received their first all-academic recognition on the second team, while Quincee Clark earned an honorable mention for the third time.
In total, 31 OSU equestrian student-athletes have received academic recognition, with 17 more Cowgirls selected to the NCEA Academic Honor Roll. For updates and coverage of Oklahoma State Cowgirl Equestrian, visit okstate.com and follow @osuequestrian on social media.
