The federal government has revoked the student visas of eight Oklahoma State University (OSU) students, according to a university representative. Initially reported as six students, the number has been confirmed to be eight by OSU’s International Student Services. The university is seeking clarity on why these visas were revoked and is focused on providing support to the impacted students.
The names of the students and their home countries have not been released due to privacy regulations. Additionally, two students from Oral Roberts University may also be affected, with the school monitoring the situation and supporting the students.
