Record-Breaking 2025 London Marathon Attracts Thousands
London, April 27, 2025 — The 2025 London Marathon has shattered records with an astounding 56,000 participants, including celebrities, MPs, and unique costumed runners, all navigating the iconic 26.2-mile course under a blazing sun. The event, now in its 45th year, witnessed not just a high turnout but also numerous personal bests among runners.
Heartfelt stories emerged from the race, such as Amie Begin, who completed all six world major marathons, and David Stancombe, running in memory of his daughter Elsie, tragically lost last year.
