UWM Enhances Broker Support with New Initiatives
October 12, 2023
United Wholesale Mortgage (UWM) has introduced two innovative initiatives aimed at empowering independent mortgage brokers: the enhanced PA+ program and the Memory Maker tool. These developments were unveiled by UWM CEO and Chairman Mat Ishbia during the annual FUSE conference hosted by the Association of Independent Mortgage Experts (AIME) in Las Vegas.
Enhanced PA+ Program
The PA+ program, initially launched in May 2023, has been significantly upgraded to offer brokers greater flexibility and control over the loan process. Brokers can now select specific stages—setup, underwriting, or closing—to be managed by a UWM loan coordinator, allowing them to focus on client relationships and business growth. Ishbia emphasized that this enhancement is designed to help brokers scale their businesses efficiently, especially as market conditions evolve. (mpamag.com)
Memory Maker Tool
Memory Maker is a personalized service that enables brokers to send thank-you emails, handwritten notes, or gifts such as cutting boards and welcome mats to borrowers and real estate agents. Accessible through UWM’s EASE platform, the tool allows brokers to select and schedule these gestures, with UWM handling the logistics. This initiative aims to strengthen client relationships and encourage referrals, enhancing brokers’ competitive edge in the market. (mpamag.com)
These initiatives reflect UWM’s commitment to supporting independent mortgage brokers with innovative tools and services, reinforcing its position as a leader in the wholesale mortgage industry.
