Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series Heads to Oklahoma and Kansas for May Swing
SAPULPA, Okla. — The Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series, presented by Toyota, embarks on a thrilling three-day competition starting May 9 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, marking its debut at Creek County Speedway. Known for hosting the American Sprint Car Series and POWRi National Midget League events, this quarter-mile track is expected to set the stage for an exciting showdown.
The series then continues with stops at Humboldt Speedway on May 10 and 81 Speedway on May 11, both of which have hosted the Xtreme Outlaw Midgets since 2023. The drivers will also encounter competitors from the Rocky Mountain Midget Racing Association during this swing.
In recent thrilling races, Jacob Denney captured his first Xtreme Outlaw win at Farmer City Raceway, where he finished fourth in the following event. The Ohio native is eager to chase his second win at Creek County as he aims to overtake Karter Sarff for the points lead.
Rookie drivers also made waves during the Illini 100, with Trifecta Motorsports teammates Michael Faccinto and Kameron Key both finishing in the top 10. Key even flirted with victory, finishing second in a tight race against Sarff.
Reigning champion Cannon McIntosh, hailing from Oklahoma, faced a tough weekend with poor finishes, yet he aims to return to form at his home tracks where he has found past success. Meanwhile, Chase McDermand, now an owner-driver, has seen improvement in standings with two fifth-place finishes at the Illini 100.
As the Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series prepares for a weekend packed with action, fans can anticipate fierce competition and memorable performances in the Sooner State and beyond.
