Press Release: WestCare Pacific Islands Announces Free Summer Camp for Youth
WestCare Pacific Islands is excited to announce its annual Ready. Set. Summer! youth summer camp, a free program designed for youth aged 11 to 14. This enriching camp will take place at The Guam Museum from June 9 to 13, 2025, running daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The week-long camp will provide an array of engaging activities aimed at enhancing self-esteem, communication skills, leadership development, and team building, all while fostering relationship intelligence among participants. To ensure a comfortable experience, light refreshments and lunch will be provided at no cost. Additionally, attendees can look forward to exciting prizes and giveaways throughout the week.
Due to limited seating, interested parents and caregivers are encouraged to register their youth by May 30, 2025. Registration can be completed through WestCare’s social media platforms or their website at www.westcarepacificislands.org/events. For those who prefer in-person registration, forms can be picked up at the WestCare Pacific Islands Prevention team’s office, located above East Island Tinting in East Hagåtña, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (excluding holidays).
