Miss Oklahoma Returns to OKC After 60 Years
Oklahoma City, OK – Historic changes are underway for the Miss Oklahoma Competition as it relocates from Tulsa to Oklahoma City for the first time in over six decades. The event will be held at the Rose State Performing Arts Center, providing easier access for contestants and audiences alike.
Current Miss Oklahoma, Lauren Frost, expressed her enthusiasm about the move, stating, “There’s excitement in the air! This brings the competition back to the heart of Oklahoma.” The event fosters not only talent and poise but also provides a significant platform for women to share their causes and earn scholarships.
The competition is set to feature several categories, including interview, evening gown, talent, and fitness. Each participant has the chance to receive scholarships, with the newly crowned Miss Oklahoma taking home a $30,000 cash award. In addition, Miss Oklahoma’s Teen 2025 will be awarded $15,000, alongside multiple scholarship opportunities for all involved.
Frost emphasizes the relevance of pageants today, saying, “They provide a platform for women to stand up for what they believe in while earning scholarship money.” Frost’s own platform, titled "The Adoption Option," focuses on her personal experience with adoption, inspiring others to share their stories.
