However, during a cross-examination of Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, referred to as “Jane,” his legal team sought to portray these encounters as consensual arrangements.
Jane revealed she initiated some of these “freak offs,” including a specific occasion where she suggested a “hotel night” with two other men, which Diddy was enthusiastic about. She described an encounter from August 2022 where she expressed enjoyment and gratitude towards Diddy, stating he was a significant figure in her life. Emotional on the stand, she mentioned how he contributed to her child’s happiness and claimed to have never experienced such care from a partner before.
Her testimony also included a request for Diddy to adopt healthier habits, leading to a “sobriety party,” which she described as lasting between 12 and 18 hours and involving multiple partners. She expressed complex feelings of resentment toward Diddy regarding her emotional attachment and inability to decline his requests.
In a separate development, prosecutors are seeking the removal of Juror #6, citing a “lack of candor,” although the motives behind this request remain unclear. Diddy was present in court, appearing calm, and engaged with attendees before proceedings commenced.
