Wake Forest Basketball to Host Oklahoma in 2025 ACC/SEC Challenge

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Excitement is building as Wake Forest University announced its participation in the upcoming ACC/SEC Challenge. The Demon Deacons will host the University of Oklahoma on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, marking the initial face-off between the two programs. Specific game time and television coverage details will be released later.

In tandem with this event, Wake Forest Athletics is reintroducing its Annual Seat Rights Program for 2025-26 men’s basketball season ticket holders. This initiative allows fans to secure their seating locations annually, removing the uncertainty of seat reassignment each season. It ensures priority for existing seat renewals or potential upgrades for the upcoming season.

Looking ahead, key dates are set for season ticket renewal:

  • June 16, 2025: Renewal process begins; participants of the Annual Seat Rights Program will receive priority in seat selection.
  • June 27, 2025: The seat selection period concludes.
  • July 6, 2025: Final day to purchase Annual Seat Rights on a one-year basis.
  • July 7, 2025: Remaining inventory will be available to the public.

The 2024-25 season saw Wake Forest achieve 21 victories, marking their highest regular-season finish since 2008-09. The team boasted 13 ACC wins, tying their historical record.

With the home court advantage at LJVM Coliseum, where the Demon Deacons have secured 61 victories since 2021-22, fans can anticipate a lively atmosphere. During the 2024-25 season, attendance surged, with 153,029 fans attending games, the highest since 2014-15, and an average of 9,564 per game—the best since the 2010-11 season.

The clash against Oklahoma promises to be an exciting highlight in Wake Forest’s continuing efforts to enhance the fan experience and support the community.
