Oklahoma All-Star Football Game Set for June 21 in Miami
MIAMI, Okla. — Football talent from small high schools around Oklahoma will converge in Miami for the highly anticipated All-Star Football Game on Saturday, June 21, at the Miami Multi-Purpose Sports Complex at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. The event, hosted by the Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau along with the Northeast Oklahoma A&M (NEO), marks the 22nd year of the Oklahoma Eight Man Football Coaches Association’s celebration of youth football.
Gates for the matchup will open at 4 p.m., with tickets priced at $10 for adults and $5 for children. Only OEMFCA corporate sponsor passes will be accepted at the entrance. This year’s game features 80 of Oklahoma’s premier high school football players, who will arrive on Wednesday for an action-packed week leading up to the anticipated White vs. Green Showdown.
Participants will benefit from guidance and training by over 20 coaches from the Oklahoma Eight Man Football Coaches Association, while also enjoying various activities, including a night at the historic Coleman Theatre, a hypnotist show, and a coaches’ golf scramble.
In an exciting addition, all-star cheerleaders from across the state will support the teams, having been nominated by their coaches and selected by a committee. The cheer team will perform during halftime and will be honored at an awards banquet on Friday evening.
With nearly 3,000 fans expected to attend, along with college recruiters and scouts scouting talent, this event promises to be a highlight of Oklahoma’s sports calendar, celebrating the skill and dedication of young athletes in the eight-man football league.
