The 2025 HoustonCIO ORBIE Awards recently honored top technology executives from companies such as Chevron, NOV, and Nabors for their exceptional leadership and innovation. The awards, hosted by HoustonCIO, recognized winners across nine categories including Leadership, Large Enterprise, Healthcare, and Nonprofit/Public Sector. The ceremony, held at Marriott Marquis Houston, brought together industry leaders to celebrate excellence in technology leadership.
Among the winners were Bill Braun from Chevron, Jay Kouns from NOV, and Aparna Mathur from Nabors, who received awards for their leadership in their respective organizations. The ORBIE Awards, which have been recognizing leadership excellence since 1998, aim to build relationships between executives and inspire the next generation of leaders.
The keynote address at the event was delivered by Bill Braun, CIO of Chevron, who was interviewed by Matt Anderson, General Manager of Strategy and Digital Performance at Chevron.
